We are seeking a talented and experienced project developer to expand 38 Degrees North's distributed energy pipeline across battery storage, community solar, and behind-the-meter projects. This position is for someone who has carried distributed projects through the development cycle and is excited to apply that experience inside a growing, entrepreneurial platform with established distributed generation and community solar businesses. The VP of Development will work alongside our existing development, investment, and EPC teams to advance a broad portfolio that spans standalone and solar-paired battery storage, community solar, behind-the-meter (C&I) solar and storage, and emerging virtual power plant and aggregation opportunities across our core markets, including PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, and MISO. Day to day, the VP will own a portfolio of projects from site identification through Notice to Proceed, including interconnection, permitting, real estate, and offtake. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, and we are looking for someone self-sufficient who can drive projects independently while collaborating closely with the rest of the team. We are a growing entrepreneurial company, and the VP will have the opportunity to shape how 38DN approaches distributed energy development and work directly with senior leadership on market strategy.
