We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring accurate inventory, smooth material flow, and timely support for Production, R&D, MRO, and other departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely material availability across departments.
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering high performance, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
  • Manage obsolete and slow-moving stock by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and coordinating disposal or repurposing.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes, workflows, and KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
  • Monitor compliance with workplace safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, Lean, and inventory optimization projects.
  • Prepare and present regular reports for management (inventory accuracy, stock levels, dead stock, performance indicators).
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes.
  • Experience with dead stock, slow-moving inventory analysis, or inventory optimization strategies is a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP (Monitor G5).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Understanding of lean principles, 5S methodology, or continuous improvement tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good command of Latvian and English.
