AERONES is scaling fast, and our finance function is scaling with it. We're looking for a driven, highly independent Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing FP&A team and own the numbers behind how the business runs. This is not a back-office reporting seat - your focus will be operations. Sit where finance meets operations, turning operational data into insights that steer decisions on cost, margin, and performance.

You'll thrive here if you take ownership of your work, move fast, and prefer to build the answer yourself rather than wait to be told what to do. We're a dynamic, fast-moving environment, and the people who do well bring real drive and hold themselves to a high standard. In return, you get unusual scope, direct exposure to leadership decisions, and the chance to help shape an FP&A function as it expands.

We're genuinely excited about AI, and finance is leading the way. There's real room to experiment - to try new tools, automate the repetitive stuff, and get better as you go. You don't need to be an expert today; we mostly care that you want to learn. If tinkering with tools to speed up your work sounds fun, this is a good place to do it.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end finance, operational, and other business analyses
  • Build and track live dashboards and KPIs that provide management with real-time visibility into performance
  • Support regular forecasting and planning cycles, and develop operational models
  • Partner directly with operations to surface where money is being made or lost, identify and quantify savings opportunities, and turn that into concrete actions
  • Evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions and deliver clear, decision-ready recommendations, including ad hoc investment reviews and operations support
  • Improve the processes, data quality, and automation behind our reporting
  • University education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • High personal drive and genuine independence - you set a fast pace, take initiative without being asked, own open-ended problems end-to-end, and follow through to the result
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can turn complex analysis into a simple, confident recommendation
  • Good English, spoken and written
  • 1-2+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, or a comparable analytical role is preferred
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and solid financial modeling skills are preferred
  • Experience with ERP and BI tools is a plus, as is familiarity with AI tools and programming/scripting to automate and scale analysis
  • Knowledge of operational, project, or field-service environments is a strong plus
