About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Senior Accountant who wants to take on significant responsibility within accounting and financial reporting. The role includes responsibility for closing processes, reporting, tax management, and ensuring high quality in the company’s financial processes. You will work closely with the CFO and act as an important business partner to the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

• Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with applicable regulations and standards (K3/IFRS)

• Manage day-to-day accounting and account reconciliations

• Prepare financial reports and analyses

• Responsible for VAT, tax, and declaration processes

• Coordinate audits and maintain contact with external auditors

• Drive improvements and efficiency initiatives within finance processes

• Ensure internal controls and compliance

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Act as a mentor/support to junior colleagues within finance


Required Skills

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting or auditing

• Solid experience in financial closing and reporting

• Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting principles and tax legislation

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

• Experience with K3 accounting standards

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
