Farmer Focus’s mission is to promote and protect generational family farms by shifting farm-level decision-making and chicken ownership back to farmers and empowering them to farm the way they know is best. Key Responsibilities:
• Scrape Monitoring: Perform hourly scrape scores on the cone line deboning process to ensure maximized yield.
• Communication: Promptly report high scrape scores or anomalies to supervision for corrective action.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and detailed paperwork for auditing and tracking purposes.
• Flexibility: Adapt to changes in tasks and schedules based on the company’s operational needs, particularly on the Night Shift, where schedules depend on cone line run times.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure precision in all calculations and records, as accuracy is critical to the role.
• Basic Math Application: Use basic math skills to analyze and interpret data related to scrape scores and yield performance.

• Skills:
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
o Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, percentages).
o Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervision.
o Proficient in maintaining organized and legible records.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
• May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facilities.
• Perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; walking, lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
