Overview:

As a Sanitation Team Member at Farmer Focus, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment by restoring equipment to USDA-compliant standards. You’ll work hands-on with industrial cleaning tools and sanitizers, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role is ideal for dependable, team-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure sanitation team members are properly trained and equipped with necessary PPE

· Communicate special sanitation instructions from supervisors to team members

· Enforce safety procedures and ensure team understanding

· Conduct inspections before, during, and after sanitation processes

· May perform sanitation duties directly

· Operate specialized equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts) after training

· Complete other tasks or projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Strong communication skills with team members, management, customers, and regulatory officials

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

· Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, loud)

· Professional conduct and representation of the company

· Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization

· Dependable and committed to following through on responsibilities

Qualifications:

· Preferred: High school diploma or GED

· Required: 0–1 year in food processing or similar heavy industry

· Preferred: 2+ years in the food or protein industry

· Solid understanding of sanitation procedures and safety protocols (e.g., Lock Out/Tag Out, HAZCOMM)

· Professional demeanor and appearance
