How this Role Will Be Impactful
The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting all of the major software systems utilized by SVO and will be the first line of support for operational issues and training needs. The primary function is to become the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned software systems and be able to configure, troubleshoot and train users on these systems. In addition, the Systems Analyst is responsible for meeting with the business to understand changing business needs and determining how to make the systems support those needs.

- Inventory Management (including Purchasing, Receiving and Warehousing)
- Data Analytics and Reporting
- OSS Configuration
- Maintaining User Security in Systems
- 3-5 years of directly related experience and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience with Smartsheet for efficient project management
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced proficiency in Excel, experience with Smartsheet
- Experience with Business Intelligence systems
- Must possess strong analytical skills, and strong written/communication skills.
- Strong command of SQL for database querying and management
- Proficiency in JavaScript development for system customization and enhancement
- Familiarity with JSON and REST API for data interchange and integration
- Ability to travel within the City of Harrisonburg between our three facilities.

Work is based in our corporate offices to allow for meetings, team cohesion and collaboration. This role can be hybrid for the right person with a preference for candidates within a one-hour drivable distance from Harrisonburg, VA.
The position may require frequent access the production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet, and chill of the plant. Hearing and eye-protective equipment required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area. Must be able to traverse a two-story staircase multiple times per day.
