Role Overview / Purpose and Scope
The Stack Off position is responsible for supporting production operations by lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving product, boxes, materials, and equipment as needed throughout the plant. This role helps ensure product is handled safely, pallets are stacked properly, and production areas are supported based on business needs.
The Stack Off team member plays an important role in maintaining product flow, supporting multiple departments, following safety procedures, and contributing to a clean and safe working environment. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced manufacturing and poultry production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lift up 45-75lbs repeatedly.
Able to stack pallets up to 10 high while maintaining stability and safety.
Lifting and bending repeatedly.
Works throughout varies departments to assist where needed
Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions
Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
Compensation: $18.25/hour

Qualifications
· Ability to learn/ perform all general labor duties
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Related experience preferred but not required
· Able to pass SVO pre-employment/post offer checks
· Must have eligibility to work in the United States
· Ability to work all assigned shifts, including overtime and some weekends
New team members must be able to pass a drug, alcohol and background screening [remove for hourly] post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Exposed to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity
May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to dust and chemicals
Perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; walking, lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment, and materials
