The Vice President, Manufacturing Operations is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Footprints global manufacturing operations in Mexico and Poland. These operations include production, quality control, and continuous improvement. Theis role is critical in driving operational excellence, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products, optimizing costs, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The VP, Manufacturing Operations will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, R&D, supply chain, and procurement, to align manufacturing strategies with overall business goals.

Functional Leadership:
• Provide overall leadership to global manufacturing operations, with responsibility for strategy development and implementation, operating plans and budgets, value generation initiatives, policies, procedures, and technology adoption.
• Oversee staff assessment, development, and performance measurement, ensuring that the organization meets its operational and financial objectives.
• Establish and govern performance metrics and goals, ensuring accountability across the manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Operations:
• Collaborate with plant leaders to develop and drive manufacturing objectives, ensuring the facility operates within budget and meets production targets.
• Support the development and implementation of manufacturing metrics (e.g., safety, quality, production attainment, associate relations, and retention).
• Monitor and measure performance against established metrics, coaching plant leaders on resolving any variances.
• Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of facilities and equipment, managing vendor relationships for repairs and maintenance.
Quality Management:
• Champion all activities related to the Total Quality Management System (TQMS), ensuring effective programs and policies are in place for product quality, supplier quality, regulatory reporting, and compliance.
• Lead quality investigations, risk assessments, and product complaint resolutions, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):
• Lead safe and environmentally responsible operations, providing overall leadership for the EHS function.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, systems, and tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate EHS matters with site and executive leadership and facilitate the resolution of identified issues through management teams.
Continuous Improvement:
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement programs aimed at reducing costs, improving productivity, increasing reliability, and enhancing product quality.
• Coach operations leadership on the development and execution of plans to optimize production and minimize supply chain costs through effective use of resources.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and execute production and maintenance strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring product standards meet or exceed customer expectations.
People Leadership:
• Recruit, coach, manage, and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent for current and future operations.
• Promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, fostering employee accountability, and creating a productive and engaging work environment.
• Analyze staffing needs and develop strategies to ensure the team is well-equipped to meet operational goals
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong leadership with proven ability to drive long-term manufacturing strategies and develop high-performing teams.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TQM, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
• Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and making data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Deep knowledge of quality control, regulatory compliance, and EHS standards, with a focus on risk management and safety.
• Excellent communication skills and adept at leading cross-functional teams and managing projects effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Independence of Action:
Functions with a high degree of independence, setting strategic direction for business unit. Makes key decisions on operational strategies, resource allocation, and high-impact projects. Collaborates with executive leadership on organizational goals but has the autonomy to implement and adjust strategies for their business group.
