We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support the successful launch of our greenfield manufacturing operations in Poland. This role will be a critical enabler of business success, owning all HR processes for the region ensuring hiring and training plans are designed and executed on time and within budget.
The HR Manager will partner closely with site leadership, corporate HR in Arizona, and HR teams in Mexico to drive HR excellence, standardization, and benchmarking while building a strong, high-performance workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while being the local labor law specialist to ensure compliance with local legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Greenfield Launch & Workforce Build
- Lead all HR activities for the greenfield launch, including workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and initial organizational setup.
- Design and execute end-to-end hiring and training plans to enable a successful and timely start of operations.
- Ensure workforce ramp-up aligns with production timelines, budget constraints, and operational readiness milestones.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Readiness
- Develop and execute the regional Talent Attraction and Total Rewards strategy, including sourcing, employer branding, selection, onboarding, and early-stage capability development.
- Partner with business and operations leaders to forecast talent needs and ensure readiness for launch and sustained operations.
- Establish scalable hiring processes and training frameworks that can support future growth.
Labor Law & Employee Relations
- Serve as the local expert on Polish labor law, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all HR policies, contracts, and processes are compliant with local regulations and aligned with corporate standards.
- Proactively manage employee relations matters and support a positive workplace culture from day one.
Global & Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Work effectively across time zones, interfacing regularly with HQ in Arizona and HR teams in Mexico to drive alignment, HR excellence, and best-practice benchmarking.
- Support the deployment and adoption of global HR programs, systems, and policies at the local site.
- Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership and a strong connector between local operations and global HR.
Team Leadership & HR Operations
- Build, lead, and develop local HR team members as the organization scales.
- Establish core HR operational processes, including performance management, training administration, and employee lifecycle management.
- Operate with agility and resilience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment undergoing rapid change.
HR Systems, Payroll & Finance Interface
- Support the implementation and stabilization of the HR systems landscape for the Poland site in alignment with global HR platforms.
- Partner closely with Finance and external vendors to establish compliant and accurate payroll processes, interfaces, and controls.
- Ensure clean data flow between HR systems and Finance, enabling payroll accuracy, reporting, and compliance from day one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth settings.
- Proven track record of developing and executing HR Processes throughout the employee-life-cycle
- Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards, particularly for operational and technical roles.
- Demonstrated greenfield / site launch experience (highly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Polish labor law and employment regulations.
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations, collaborating across regions and time zones.
- Fluency in English and Polish proficiency required.
