About Moleaer:

Moleaer Company is a venture-backed technology company that is privately owned and is based in Hawthorne, California. It is the category creator and global leader in nanobubble technology, which is revolutionizing how industries use water. The only fundamental scientific innovation in water in the past 30 years, nanobubbles drive sustainability, enabling industries to produce more while using significantly less water, energy, and chemicals. Recognized as one of America's Top GreenTech Companies for 2024 by TIME magazine, Moleaer is an incredibly dynamic and fast-growing company with a tremendous opportunity for career growth.

Water is our most precious resource. Not only do we need it to live, but we also use it in virtually every industrial process from food production to mining to mixing concrete. Moleaer’s mission is to unlock the power of water to do more with less. Our patented nanobubble technology improves sustainable food production and processing, water and wastewater treatment, natural resource recovery, and we can even restore aquatic ecosystems sustainably – and we do all of this with nanobubbles, not chemicals.

Nanobubbles are 2,500 times smaller than a grain of salt and have properties that allow them to supersaturate water with oxygen, form natural oxidants for disinfection, and increase water’s ability to permeate soil, rock, and even clothes in a washing machine. Our technology has been validated by extensive research, and we currently have over 2,500 installations in more than 50 countries.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Drafter to support mechanical design and engineering operations through creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). This role is responsible for executing design documentation and ensuring accurate transfer of engineering data into ERP systems (NetSuite) to support manufacturing, procurement, and production activities.

This is a hands-on role focused on design execution, documentation, and data accuracy, working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions:

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks (and AutoCAD as needed)

• Produce complete drawing packages including:

· General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)

· Fabrication and assembly drawings

· P&IDs and basic schematics (as required)

• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned with engineering designs

• Enter and manage item data, BOMs, and work orders in NetSuite ERP

• Ensure accurate linkage between CAD assemblies, BOMs, and ERP structures

• Support release of drawings and parts through SolidWorks PDM

• Apply revision control updates and maintain drawing accuracy per company standards

• Assist with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement updates across CAD, PDM, and NetSuite

• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to:

· Clarify design intent

· Resolve documentation issues

· Ensure manufacturability and completeness of released data

• Maintain organized documentation and adhere to configuration control processes

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (required)

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design support

• Experience creating detailed fabrication and assembly drawings

• Familiarity with BOM creation and multi-level assemblies

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) for item and BOM management

• Working knowledge of SolidWorks PDM or similar document control systems

• Understanding of basic drafting standards (ASME or ISO)

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Practical understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation needs

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with fluid systems, piping, pumps, or industrial equipment

· Familiarity with GD&T principles
