Pyx Health is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to manage the full recruiting lifecycle across multiple departments. As an independent contractor, you will partner closely with hiring managers and department leaders to source, engage, and close top talent. This role requires a self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can quickly context-switch between technical and non-technical roles, and brings strong communication and organizational skills to every search.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
• Own the end-to-end recruiting process from intake through offer acceptance and close
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and search strategy
• Write and post compelling job descriptions tailored to each role and audience
• Manage requisitions across multiple open roles simultaneously
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
• Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and creative outreach
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and high-priority role types
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies by department (technical, go-to-market, operational)
• Maintain data hygiene and candidate records within the ATS
Candidate Communication & Experience
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process
• Conduct initial screens to assess qualifications, interest, and culture fit
• Provide timely, professional communication at every stage — offers, rejections, and status updates
• Represent the company brand positively and consistently in every candidate interaction
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, and team leads
• Facilitate interview scheduling, debrief sessions, and calibration conversations
• Advise hiring teams on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and candidate expectations
• Escalate blockers and flag risks to search timelines proactively
