Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Lewisburg, TN
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Lewisburg, TN. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, driving equipment reliability, coordinating preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong multi-craft maintenance background with proven leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts and disciplines
- Provide daily direction, coaching, performance management, and development for direct reports
- Manage employee scheduling, attendance, overtime, and shift coverage
- Conduct disciplinary actions and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and report department KPIs including downtime, PM completion rates, response times, and equipment reliability metrics
- Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, maintenance history, inventory, and labor tracking
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems
- Diagnose and resolve PLC and controls-related issues to support production uptime
- Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, environmental, and company standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis efforts
- Manage outside contractors and vendors as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong multi-craft maintenance background with hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Experience troubleshooting:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- PLCs and industrial controls
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with preventative maintenance planning and scheduling
- Proficiency using CMMS software systems
- Proven experience managing direct reports, including coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
