Aegis is currently partnering with a growing manufacturing firm in the western suburbs looking to identify a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Develop LV electrical designs (single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams)
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on electrical-mechanical integration, preparing BOMs and submittal drawings
• Provide hands-on factory floor support during assembly and testing.
• Comfortable troubleshooting issues on the floor during production

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing low voltage electrical distribution equipment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, or another CAD software (Creo, EPLAN, etc)
• Strong understanding of single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring design for LV systems (600V and under)
• bachelors degree is a plus
