Aegis is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client's organization in Gurnee, IL. This position is an onsite role daily with 25% travel required to customer locations. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

Must have:

• 2-3+ years of technical sales, inside sales account management, business development, customer service, applications engineering, or service-related experience in manufacturing
• Experience selling, supporting, servicing, quoting, or recommending technical products, OEM equipment, industrial equipment, custom machinery, engineered products, or process-related solutions
• Sales attitude of natural curiosity and drive
• Persistence/Patience

Preferred:

• Associates/bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with ERP/pricing and quoting software
• CRM understanding

Nice to Have:

• Chemistry or Engineering experience
• Knowledge in pigment grinding, solvent recovery systems, coatings, paint, chemical, or process driven OEM equipment
