We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Maintenance Technicians in maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safe work practices, developing team members, and supporting production through effective maintenance execution.

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Maintenance Technicians in maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safe work practices, developing team members, and supporting production through effective maintenance execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities, work orders, and technician assignments.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
  • Drive preventive maintenance and downtime reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor work order completion, backlog management, and maintenance performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and 5S practices.
  • Coordinate repairs, projects, and communication across shifts to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Develop and mentor maintenance team members through coaching and training.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution.
  • Escalate critical equipment issues and coordinate resources as needed.
  • Support production goals through effective maintenance planning and execution.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Required Skills

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement methodologies.
